Among these cooling methods, the most significant is the difference of cooling medium, transformers, gearboxes and other equipment usually use oil as the primary cooling medium, mainly oil cooling device. Other devices using high-power power electronics devices usually use pure water or pure water containing additives as the primary cooling medium, mainly using water cooling devices.
